CHAMPIONS!!
In March 2010, the Loudoun Thunder won the St. Patrick's Day Soccer Tournament U12 Girls Green Division Championship. Thunder played 4 games and outscored their opponents 11-2. It's a great way to start the spring season :) In August 2009, the Loudoun Thunder won the Dulles National U12 Girls Challenge Red Division Championship. In four games, the Thunder scored 19 goals with 2 goals scored against them! Well Done Thunder!!!!!!
We are Loudoun United 97G White, a select U12 girls soccer team from Loudoun County, Virginia. We are coached by Jeff Brill and our Assistant Coach is Michael Garrison! We represent Loudoun Soccer in the very competitive Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS) league, one of the most highly rated leagues for girls' travel soccer in the nation. The team will also participate in some of the most competitve tournaments in our region. The girls are very fortunate to have been selected for this team, which emphasizes fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and skill development.
As a U10 team in 2008, our first year playing travel soccer, the girls had a record of 24-12-11, including being finalists in 2 tournaments (the Battlefield Classic and the IceBreaker) and winning the Bronze Championship game in The Virginian Soccer Tournament, one of the toughest and top tournaments on the East Coast! During the Virginian, we scored 10 goals and only allowed 1 against us!! Throughout the season our girls outscored their opponents with 106 goals, allowing only 63!
In 2009 we continued to rise and create new challenges! We remained at the top of Division 1 in the Old Dominion Soccer League. We also upped the ante and competed against tougher, more experienced A & B teams in tournaments! At the end of the year, our ODSL and Tournament record was 54 wins, 7 losses and 17 ties. We outscored our opponents with 187 goals and allowed only 50 goals against us!!!
We continue to focus our energies on quality sportsmanship, having fun, being competitive and doing - and being - the best that we can possibly be! We are a proud team of girls, coaches, parents, and fans!!
