VIRGINIAN CHAMPIONS!!

(along with being the Champions in many other Tournaments!)

We are Loudoun United 97G White, a select U-11 girls soccer team from Loudoun County, Virginia.  We are coached by, whom we believe to be the best ... Rus Phillips, and our Assistant Coach, Steve Pearson!  We represent Loudoun Soccer Club in the very competitive Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL), one of the most highly rated leagues for girls' and boys' travel soccer in the nation.  The team will also participate in some of the most competitve tournaments in our region. The girls are very fortunate to have been selected for this team, which emphasizes fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and skill development. 

As a U10 team last year, our first year playing travel soccer, the girls had a record of 24-12-11, including being finalists in 2 tournaments (the Battlefield Classic and the IceBreaker) and winning the Bronze Championship game in The Virginian Soccer Tournament, one of the toughest and top tournaments on the East Coast!  During the Virginian, we scored 10 goals and only allowed 1 against us!!  Throughout the season our girls outscored their opponents with 106 goals, allowing only 63!

This year, we have continued to rise and create new challenges!  We remain at the top of Division 1 in ODSL.  We have upped the ante and are now competing with the tougher, more experienced A & B teams in tournaments!  With just the Fall season under our belt, our record is 16 wins, 3 losses and 4 ties.  We have outscored our opponents with 76 goals and allowed only 18 goals against us!!!

We continue to focus our energies on quality sportsmanship, having fun, being competitive and doing - and being - the best that we can possibly be!  We are a proud team of girls, coaches, parents, and fans!!
