PLAINFIELD FREEDOM U10 BLUE BOYS
The Plainfield Freedom U10 boys team consists of 12 ALL-STAR players from Plainfield and Naperville, IL. Each of the boys contribute their own unique and special talents to form an extremely competetive team. These 12 boys still remain undefeated in tournament play over the last two years and have won the last 9 tournaments that they have played in. They are also among the nations Top 3v3 teams. The boys will play up a year in age at the U11 level in the Northern Illinois Soccer League. Check out their progress at www.northernillinoissoccerleague.com.

Plainfield Freedom U9 Blue Boys Defend title in Champaign
The Plainfield Freedom U9 Boys traveled down to Champaign, IL this past weekend to play in the Little Illini Soccer Club Orange and Blue Fall Cup. This is the same tournament that they won last year and the boys remain undefeated in tournament play over the last 2 years. The Freedom Boys rolled to the Championship game beating the the opposition 8-2, 12-1, 7-1 before they met the Chicago Blast Team out of Oakbrook, IL in the Championship game. The boys defeated the Chicago Blast 8-1 and defended their title. Over the course of the 4 games all eleven boys had either a goal or an assist, the results were as follows: Dominick Skrip (6 goals, 2 assists), Ben Thompson (5 goals, 3 assists), Brady McKay (5 goals, 2 assists), Nick Thompson (5 goals, 2 assists), Quinton Rose (5 goals), Colin Lynch (2 goals, 2 assists), Jake Ronneberg (2 goals, 2 assists), Ian Aslam (2 goals), Sam McKenzie (1 goal, 2 assists), Corey Evans (1 goal 2 assists), and Casey Schure (3 assists). Congratulations to the Freedom U9 Blue team for their 2nd tournament Championship this Fall Season. | |
