The ODFC Revolution is an extremely competitive soccer team that resides in South Riding, Virgina and attracts team members from Western Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties. The team is a rising U-13 team for the Fall of 2010. It plays in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS), one of the premier soccer leagues in United States.
The Revolution has chemistry! The team is made up of a complementary group of players that are dedicated to the game of soccer; players who work hard on and off the pitch to provide world-class entertainment for their parents and fans. The team trains year-round with FOCUS on constant individual improvement, team cohesiveness, and education in the game. Our coaches and trainers have significant experience and work as a group to develop the girls' abilities and push them to improve and strive for success.
In addition to WAGS play, the REVS have successfully competed and been finalists or champions in several top-notch tournaments across the region over the past two years. Some of the tournaments we have played in include: PWSI IceBreaker, Richmond Kickers Columbus Day Tournament, Jefferson Cup, The Virginian, Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament, Adidas Potomac, PWSI Toys for Tots Labor Day, Dulles Sportsplex Indoor, Fiesta Winter League, Arlington Spring Invitational and WAGS Festival in the Park. The Revs were also honored as the recepients of the WAGS Sportsmanship Award in the Spring of 2008.
This site will keep you up to date with all the team's activities throughout the season. Check back for news on the Revs!
We welcome interested girls to our open training sesssions each week! For more information regarding the Revs or to register for a try-out, please call Team Manager Lori Campbell at 703-327-9332 or e-mail the team at lsc6@verizon.net.
