APRIL 2008 - CELTIC COLONIAL CHAMPIONS - At the end of what was a thilling and very enjoyable tournament the Celtic won their bracket in the Colonial Tournament in Richmond.  The boys and parents really had a lot of fun and played some fantastic soccer on beautiful fields.  There were times the ball was almost a blur it was moved so well and congratulations to Adam Leslie on the fastest goal ever by a Celtic player as he netted in 5.30 seconds of the first half of our Sunday morning crunch match.

MARCH 30, 2008 - CELTIC PWSI ICEBREAKER RUNNERS UP -  The boys had a great tournament this weekend.  Playing on some nice fields this was a great run out before the season begins.  The boys had two wins and a close loss on their way to the final.  The final itself was what soccer is all about.  Two evenly matched groups of kids showing their skills and playing some wonderful soccer.  In such and exciting and evenly matched game it was a shame there had to be a runner up but the goal that eventually beat out the boys was a wonder goal half volley to the top corner that deserved to win any game.  Really on the day both teams were winners and you could see and hear the mutual respect when both sets of players were receiving their medals.  Well done to everyone for a great pre-season run out.
