CONGRATULATIONS GALAXY
on a Phenomenal Season
LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!
On August 30, Galaxy played their final match of the season against Ajax United Arsenal winning 4-1 to end their season in FIRST place with 35points and an impressive 65 goals for 11 goals against. After winning the LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP the Galaxy will be promoted to the CSL for the 2012 season. Congratulations to all our players on their outstanding development and achievements!!!
CESL CUP CHAMPIONS!
On August 27, Galaxy faced NSSC United in the semi-finals of the CESL Cup and Galaxy won 3-2. In spite of several injuries and missing 3 regulars, the boys continued to persevere and put forth a great effort in defeating the Rangers in the FINALS on penalties. Our first 3 shooters all scored and the boys earned the title of CESL CUP Champions!!
TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINALISTS
GALAXY took part in the Heart of York Tournament -Newmarket where they faced higher division teams and went 3 and 1 losing only to the eventual winners Pickering Power Green.
